Together with Aldershot Town Football Club and Andys Man Club we’re providing a safe space for men over the age of 18 to come together and combat mental health issues through a free peer-to-peer support group.
It’s no secret that men don’t talk about their mental health. 77% of men suffer from common mental health issues, such as depression, stress and anxiety, but 40% of these do not seek any support or talk to anyone about it.
We’re working hard to change that. From Monday 12th August, we’ll be hosting these sessions in the Phoenix Lounge at the EBB Stadium from 7-9pm. These will be taking place every Monday (excluding bank holidays). You’ll also see Andys Man Club awareness stalls across the season to help raise awareness around mental health.
If you, or someone you know, think this may be benefit from this, please get in touch with us at mentalhealth@shotsfoundation.org and share this opportunity. There’s no fees involved, no need for you to share any personal information, we’re strict on confidentiality and keeping you comfortable.
