Don’t just take it from us, Paula has been volunteering with us for almost a year now as a Match-Day Volunteer:

“I was lucky enough to be accepted as a match day volunteer for the Shots Foundation early this year. I had helped with the RBL poppy appeal the previous November and was blown away by the generosity of the fans and started following the Shots. I wanted to be able to give some of my time in support of the club and discovered the Shots Foundation and realised how much they actually did in the local community.

As a matchday volunteer I help at the fanzone, promoting the Shots Foundation, playing with the children, making and selling friendship bracelets, face painting, and assisting the flag wavers at the beginning of the game. It’s a lovely atmosphere, everyone is super friendly and it is very rewarding. I have made some amazing new friends. If you have time on your hands and like football or even just meeting new people then this is a great local charity to support!”
