End of 2023/24 Season: RECAP

Our final home fixture of the season vs Boreham Wood rounded up a very busy, but successful season, not only for the football club, but also for us at the Shots Foundation. This was celebrated in a typical busy fashion with lots of Shots Foundation activity on the day.

Pre-match, we organised for a local NHS cardiovascular team to attend and conduct free blood pressure checks for our fans. We would like to thank the team for their time, and our fans who engaged with them and got their blood pressure checked.

At half-time, rather than our usual crossbar challenge, we ran a special charity edition. Four contestants won money for Phyllis Tuckwell, Hospice CareOpen Sight Hampshire, the Aldershot Branch of the Royal British Legion and Parkside – Aldershot and District Learning Disabilities. Congratulations to all involved!

Finally, we are pleased to announce that this season we, along with Aldershot Town FC, distributed just shy of 3,000 free tickets to our community and their respective community groups through our Community Stand Scheme. With 54% of these tickets going to children under the age of 18, we are working towards our goal of getting ‘Tomorrow’s Supporters’ to the EBB Stadium.

On behalf of the Shots Foundation, we would like to thank our wonderful team for their work this season, all the players and staff at ATFC, and our wonderful fans who have made it a season to remember. We look forward to what next season brings!
