Young Shots make us proud at Wembley!
Last weekend we travelled to Wembley with South Farnham School as they took to Wembley to compete in the final of the National League Trust u11 Tournament, representing us and Aldershot Town Football Club. So far, the South Farnham team were unbeaten throughout the preliminary, regional and South stage of this season’s tournament, only conceding a handful of goals.
Unfortunately they fell just short with a 2-1 defeat to Oldham Athletic Community Trust, but they have done themselves, the school and us very proud! We were delighted to accompany them throughout the tournament and can’t think of a more deserving school to have this experience. It was a great privilege to then be able to stay and watch Bromley win the National League final.
To be able to provide this opportunity to local schools in our area is truly remarkable and we are thankful to the National League Trust for the opportunity. We look forward to entering again next season and hopefully reaching Wembley again! ❤️ 💙
