HerGameToo Partnership

We’re delighted to have spearheaded a partnership between the Shots Foundation, Aldershot Town FC and Her Game Too. At the Shots Foundation and Aldershot Town Football Club, it’s important to us to continue to work towards being an inclusive football club that opens its arms to all its fans.

We look forward to working directly with Her Game Too to improve the experience our female fans have at the football. We are excited to take on board their expertise to not only improve our current initiatives, but as we make our plans for effective future projects.

A word on the new partnership from our Chair of Trustees, Sir John Casey:

“The Shots Foundation is pleased to support the partnership with HerGameToo. Football is a sport like no other and this means it can be played by anyone and the number of new participants has grown in the past two decades and these new participants are from all the diverse sections of our society.”

“The Shots Foundation and Aldershot Town Football Club are pledging their support to #HerGameToo as part of their ongoing commitment to being an inclusive club and helping promote football as a game for all.  Shots fans will be justifiably proud of this.”

“There are a number of things we will be doing going forward including highlighting the initiative in the home fixture closest to International Womens Day – which in this season is Oldham Athletic on March 9th and continuing to supply free sanitary products in the toilets at the EBB. Our aim is to make our Football Club and our stadium welcoming to girls and women.  To do that, we need ideas, support and energy from all our supporters alongside our own commitment and resources.  Help us make Aldershot Town FC even better – for everyone!”

As always, we welcome your input, and if you have any suggestions on how we can improve the experience for women at the football, please email John or our lead coordinator, Jamie.
