Rambling Shots

Rambling Shots
Rambling Shots is a walking group for all ages and abilities that meets on the first Wednesday of every month in the Aldershot and wider area. Free to attend, our rambles enable members to participate in gentle exercise along short routes specifically designed to be inclusive of all attendees. This ensures that everyone is able to reap both the physical and social benefits of a nice morning walk with friends, whilst taking in some pleasing scenery.
Since its inception, Rambling Shots has taken place a handful of times, including a ramble around Manor Park and on a route that took the group into Municipal Gardens. The latter included some short historical commentary from our walk leader as we travelled the route, as well as a small tour inside Trinity Church from the Reverend George Newton. Our rambles so far have been well attended and included stops at local cafes, where our members eagerly carried on the conversations that they had started during the walk!
More than just a walking group, we aim to provide a sociable environment that encourages new friendships to be formed and are always welcoming of new members. We are planning for future walks to expand outside of Aldershot into the local countryside and to enhance the group further by including additional activities in our regular meet ups.
Our Rambles are on the first Wednesday of every month, and we meet for 10:30am, so our upcoming dates are:
- Wednesday 6th August
- Wednesday 3rd September
- Wednesday 1st October
- Wednesday 5th November
- Wednesday 3rd December
