Her Game Too Dedicated Fixture
We, alongside Aldershot Town Football Club, are dedicating our fixture vs Oldham Athletic to Her Game Too. Here at the Shots Foundation we want to promote gender equality in sport and dedicating this fixture to Her Game Too is one way we can voice our support for women in sports. It is important for us, and the football club, to challenge the stereotypes and biases against women in sports and it is our job to create an inclusive and diverse sporting community here at Aldershot Town Football Club.
As part of this, we are distributing up to 250 free tickets to local girls football teams. In addition, you will see our players warming up in Her Game Too t-shirts, and you will see a number of collaborative Aldershot Town x Her Game Too flags proudly waving in the air.
We are proud to dedicate this fixture to Her Game Too, and we are looking forward to making positive steps against gender inequality in sport, and are looking to start running a Community Girls project in the Summer of 2024 as well, so keep posted!
