Shots Christmas Toy Appeal 2023

There are many children who won’t spend this Christmas at home, but rather in hospital. We want to do our part to bring the children in our local hospitals some festive cheer this Christmas, and so, Aldershot Town Football Club, together with the Shots Foundation and the Supporters Club are launching a Shots Christmas Toy Appeal for children in local hospitals, and we need your help.

We are asking that Shots fans come together to add to the donations of the Club, the Shots Foundation, and Supporters Club throughout the week of Monday 11th December. We would ask Shots fans to bring any donation they would like to make to our Toy Appeal to the club shop. We will additionally have collection points at the Aldershot Town Christmas Carol Service on the evening of Thursday 14th December, and inside the ground before the Eastleigh fixture on Saturday 16th December.

What are they looking for?

If you would like to make a donation, we are asking for new, unwrapped, unopened toys that would be bedside appropriate for the children to use whilst in hospital. We would like to ensure that all children of all ages are catered for so below we have put together a guide of what you can contribute, should you choose.

  • Rattles, soft toys
  • Small figurines (Paw patrol / Disney / Bluey / Spiderman / other characters etc)
  • Fidget toys
  • Interactive books / colouring books
  • Crafts / Bead making / painting / colouring
  • Puzzles / Board Games / Family Activities
  • Play Doh
  • Building blocks / LEGO
  • Vouchers / Gift Cards / Fragrances (for teens)

We would like to thank you in advance for your generosity at this Christmas time, and for your continuous support of the Shots. If you have any questions at all please contact our Shots Foundation lead jamie.macallister@shotsfoundation.org
